FAQ: Who Gets Paid?

WHO GETS PAID: 50% of the money from the sale goes to the store, and 50% goes to royalties. Some of our customers were referred to the store by Affiliate Partners. Affiliate Parters are rewarded with 20% of the sale price, so when a Referred Customer purchases a Zip, 20% of that cost goes to the Affiliate, 40% to the store and 40% to royalties.

HOW A ZIP IS PRICED: The price is based on the number of photos as well as the size of the file. In addition to a base price of $0.009/image (.9 cents), the customer also pays a Bandwidth Fee. The Bandwidth Fee is $0.20 (20 cents) per GB of data. Most Zips are less than 100MB in size, so for most purchases, the Bandwidth Fee is less than 2 cents. The example below is based on a Zip File with 150 images at a total size of 100MB. [Total Cost for Customer: $1.37]

HOW ROYALTIES WORK: Royalties are created for every sale. By default the Producer (the person who uploaded the zip) gets 100% of the Royalties. The Producer can share any percentage of the royalties with the models featured in the Zip - this can be set while adding the Model Names to the Zip file during the Upload Process.
HOSTING FEE: The store does charge a small Hosting Fee [Most uploaded zips are less than 1.5 pennies per month to host - this is a tiny tiny fee]. Your pay will be debited $0.15 (15 cents) per GB of storage per month. For for a single 100MB file, you'll end up being debited 1.5 cents. The charge is broken down for anyone who receives royalties - so if 50% of the royalties go to the model, then the model will receive 50% of the Hosting Fee as well. The fee does not change regardless of how many times the Zip sells, or if it sells at all.
The following example is for a producer who is keeping 100% of the royalties for 10 zips. For arguments sake, each zip has 150 images and is 100MB in size. In this example, a total of 10 sales have been made during the month of the zips. Some have not sold. The total royalties here is $6.75 and the total debit is $0.15. You would earn $6.60 for this example. If 100 Zips sold, you would still be charged only $0.15 for hosting, and your total Royalties would be $67.35. We will never make you pay up front for hosting fees, and will only take the fees out of royalties you earn.
